Word Game 7 — Voting

So we continue our game and today I want to present you tree stories.

Unfortunately, in August my English teacher can't check the texts. So I asked my husband to check them :). Kolya is  not a teacher and his English level is advance, but he did his best :).

Please, read the stories and take part in the voting.

1. Aunty Selma and her cat

A true sybarite, this enormously thick cat always been a conundrum for pious aunty Selma.

Zany jubilant cry, came from the bedroom, refuted her impression that Tom had fallen asleep.

Cat did his best to emulate the Maggy's neigh — a neighbor’s pony.

With nostalgia, aunty Selma remembered the old times, when she promised to bequeath her cat to the gullible postman-boy.

2. Our children

We want our children be successful, therefore we teach them to think, to solve conundrums, to dispute and to refute false arguments.

We bequeath them to follow the pious path through life and not to emulate sybarites and zanies.

When the children grow up we rejoice seeing them as jubilant winners, but we always have nostalgia for those times when their were gullible kids.

3. Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was a conundrum for ones, a sybarite or a zany for others.

He was pious, however he changed his belief once, refuting belief of his tyrant father.

He never emulated anybody because he was a real genius, he was a king of pop.

He was gullible they say and every his concert gathered crowds of jubilant human beings.

Beyond all doubt, we will all have nostalgia for him, and he bequeathed a real treasure to us – his great songs.

Unfortunately, no one spoke of the Crossword1, but I hope that it was no bed for you.

I would like to say that the words, which we use in our game, are Academic level words. It is very important to know them for future students of Canadian colleges or university.
